When can I start making money on YouTube?
When can I making money on YouTube?
Tis post covers basics of what you need to know
to start making money on your YouTube channel. Before you can make money on
your channel, you need an audience. Now, to create an audience, you need to
create static videos that the audience wants to watch. Also, just like anything
on YouTube, it's important that your videos follow YouTube's community
guidelines. After everything works for you, you can apply to join the YouTube
Partner Program or YPP, which allows creators to monetize their videos on
YouTube.
when i am qualify
for YPP,
you must be in good standing with YouTube and have 4,000 valid public watch
times over the past 12 months and at least 1,000 subscribers.
Now, we have set up
these gateways because we want the creators to be good citizens on the
platform, and these requirements ensure that our teams have enough information
to review your channel.
Note that you can
only apply for YPP after you have exceeded the tracking time and subscriber
limits. Well update you on your progress on hitting these gateways
in the Monetization tab on YouTube Studio.
You can also choose to be notified by email once you are
eligible to apply. Once your channel hits these limits, you will need to sign
the Partner Program Terms and sign up for a Google AdSense account.
After completing all these steps, your channel will be
reviewed against our policies. If all goes well, you can start seeing your
content from ads and YouTube premium subscribers.
Also, once you have approved the YouTube Partner Program,
there are other conditions, other than the ads you can tap into, such as
channel membership or super chat, which will be available in your country until
you meet their criteria. So this is a brief program.
Now I am going to take you through some of the most common
questions I get. The first channel revolves around reviews. You think your
channel is YPP eligible, but it has not been reviewed yet. Okay, we'll get back
to you in about a month once you hit the review limits, but you can find out
more about your position on the monetization page at YouTube Studio. Until
then, focus on creating great content and building your audience.
my channel is not recognized? What i do?
If you do not approve YPP, your channel does not meet the
YouTube Partner Program Policies and Community Guidelines, so you can reapply
within 30 days, until you still meet tracking time and subscribers.
When you have successfully completed a project, the creators often ask, "Do I have to meet this threshold every year?" No short answer. However, you need to be active with uploads and social posts. If you have been inactive for six months on your channel and fall below the threshold, we may remove your channel from the affiliate program. so careful buddies.
